The MAX7219 4-in-1 Dot Matrix is a versatile LED display module consisting of four $8 imes 8$ matrices integrated onto a single PCB. Each of the 256 LEDs can be addressed individually, but thanks to the built-in MAX7219 serial driver, the entire module is controlled via a simple 4-wire SPI interface. It is the gold standard for students building digital clocks, Now Playing music displays, or industrial status tickers.
Massive Display Area: 32 times 8resolution (256 pixels) in a single compact module.
Daisy-Chainable: Integrated input and output pins allow you to connect multiple 4-in-1 modules together to make an even longer display.
Low Pin Count: Uses only 3 GPIO pins plus power (VCC/GND), saving your microcontroller pins for sensors.
Adjustable Brightness: Control the LED intensity via software (no external resistors needed).
Vibrant Red Output: High-contrast LEDs that are visible from across a room.
| Feature | Specification |
