The DRV8825 Stepper Motor Driver is a breakout board for TIs DRV8825 microstepping bipolar stepper motor driver. It features an adjustable current limit, over-current and over-temperature protection, and six microstep resolutions (down to 1/32-step). It operates from 8.2V to 45V and can deliver up to approximately 1.5A per phase without a heat sink (rated up to 2.2A with sufficient volume cooling).
Ultra-Smooth Movement: 1/32 microstepping allows for much finer control and less vibration compared to the A4988s 1/16 stepping.
Higher Voltage Support: Handles up to 45V, allowing for higher torque at high speeds.
4-Layer PCB: Designed with a 2-ounce copper 4-layer PCB for improved heat dissipation.
Simple Interface: Only 2 pins (STEP and DIR) are required to control the motor.
Built-in Protection: Includes under-voltage lockout, over-current, and thermal shutdown.
