Its ATMEGA16L 8 bit AVR microcontroller with 16K bytes DIP-40 Package in-system programmable flash. Its a high performance low power ATMEL AVR microcontroller. It is a40-pin microcontroller with 131 potent instructions, the Atmega16 is built on an improved RISC (Reduced Instruction Set Computing) architecture. It has a static RAM of 1 KB, a 16 KB programmable flash memory, and a 512 Byte EEPROM. Flash memory and EEPROM have 10,000 and 100,000 durability cycles, respectively. It have numerous Applications and is used in medical devices, diagnostics and therapeutic equipment, medical imaging, Biosensors and bio-instrumentations.
