Resettable fuses are designed and manufactured in tiny chip form via a patented new polymeric PTC material. The resettable fuse cools down when the fault current is withdrawn, and its resistance returns to its original extremely low value. The resettable fuse is “reset,” allowing current to flow through the circuit again.
