The DS1016G Gigabit Ethernet switch provides you with high-efficiency, low-cost, easy-to-use, seamless, and standard upgrades to upgrade your old network to a 1000Mbps network. All 16 ports support automatic MDI/MDIX, so there’s no need to worry about cable type, just plug and play. In addition, with innovative energy-saving technology, DS1016G can save power consumption, making it an environmentally friendly solution for your business network.

This new generation of DS1016G Gigabit switch adopts the latest innovative energy-saving technology, which can greatly expand your network capacity with less power consumption. It automatically adjusts power consumption based on link status to limit the network’s carbon footprint. It is also compliant with EU RoHS regulations, which prohibit the use of certain hazardous materials. Additionally, most packaging materials can be recycled.

High Efficiency

All 16 ports are Gigabit RJ-45 ports, which can provide large file transfer and are compatible with 10Mbps and 100Mbps Ethernet devices. The DS1016G uses a non-blocking switching architecture to forward and filter packets at full line speed to achieve maximum throughput. With 10KB Jumbo frames, the performance of large file transfers is significantly improved. IEEE 802.3x flow control in full-duplex mode and back-pressure in half-duplex mode alleviate traffic congestion, allowing the DS1016G to work reliably. It’s perfect for upgrading your network to gigabit while protecting your previous investment.

Easy to Use

The automatic functionality of this Gigabit switch makes installation plug-and-play and hassle-free. No configuration required. Automatic MDI/MDIX requires no crossover cables. Auto-negotiation on each port senses the connection speed of your network device (10, 100 or 1000 Mbps) and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance.
