This is the PC410 Optocoupler manufactured by Toshiba. A photocoupler or optocoupleris anelectronic componentthat is used totransmit analog or digital information (electricalsignals)between two isolated, different circuits byusing lightwhile maintaining the electrical isolation of potentials up to 2500 times RMS Voltage. The ‘OPIC’ or Optical IC consists of a light detecting element (a phototransistor) and a signal processing circuit (an LED) integrated onto a single chip.
