1. AC Power Only: The board logic runs on a 9V to 12V AC power transformer (not a DC power adapter). A DC supply will power the LEDs but will not trigger the SCR because the timing relies on the AC sine wave zero-crossing.

2. Heat Dissipation: The 100A SCR must be mounted to a proper aluminum heatsink if you plan on doing rapid, high-frequency welding runs.
