Overview

The NodeMCU V2 is an open-source networking module based on the ESP8266 (ESP-12E). It is a complete, self-contained WiFi solution that can either host an application or offload all WiFi networking functions from another application processor. Unlike the V3/Lolin version, this V2 Amica design is narrower, meaning it leaves one row of holes free on both sides of a breadboardmaking prototyping much easier for students.
