The MC34063A Series is a monolithic control circuit that includes all of the essential functions for DC-to-DC converters. An internal temperature compensated reference, comparator, regulated duty cycle oscillator with an active current limit circuit, driver, and high current output switch are all included in these devices. This series was created with the goal of using as few external components as possible in StepDown, StepUp, and VoltageInverting Applications.
