The Linksys Velop WRT Pro 7 is the world’s first WiFi 7 router officially launched by Linksys as an OpenWrt-equipped model. Linksys has already performed the difficult OS installation and initial settings with OpenWrt at the factory. In most Internet environments, no additional settings are required after powering on, and WiFi can be used immediately. There are no restrictions on introducing additional functions. By using additional packages, which are a strength of OpenWrt, various extension functions that were difficult to realize with existing products can be used. Linksys is also developing a next-generation UI that is simple and easy to use and respects privacy.
