Overview

The ESP-12E is an enhanced version of the ESP8266 series, featuring a metallic shield for improved EMI (electromagnetic interference) resistance and a redesigned PCB antenna for better signal range. With 4MB of Flash memory and access to multiple GPIOs, it is the core component for developers building standalone IoT applications, remote-controlled robotics, and cloud-connected sensors. It supports the full TCP/IP stack and can act as either a Wi-Fi Station (Client) or a Soft Access Point.
