AP1682 Power Factor Controller for LED Driver

The AP1682 is a high performance AC/DC universal input Primary Side Regulation(primary-side regulation controls the output voltage and current precisely with the information in the primary side of the power supply only) Power Factor Controller(Power Factor Controller reduces the amount of reactive power generated by a device) for LED driver Applications. The device regulates output current through Pulse Frequency Modulation (PFM) technology, resulting in a high power factor and reduced THD (Total Harmonic Distortion). Single-stage primary side regulation PFC controller for LED driver. The AP1682 eliminates the optocoupler and secondary control circuitry while alsoproviding accurate constant current (CC) regulation. It also eliminates the requirement for loop correction circuitry while preserving stability.
