1N5819S A405 Schottky Rectifier Diode

The Schottky diode 1N5819 has a low forward voltage drop and a fast switching speed. Schottky diodes are employed in fast-clamp diode Applications as switches. The base junction is tilted forward in this Applications. Schottky diodes minimize turn-off time while increasing circuit speed. The 1N5408 power rectifier diode has a forward current maximum of 3A and a voltage drop of 1V. Switching speed up to 2Mhz. Reverse voltage up to 40V. Continuous current of up to 1 amp (25A surge). It is frequently used in high-frequency Applications such as inverters and DC-DC converters.
