Texas Instruments SG3524 Regulating Pulse Width Modulator IC (SMD Package)

The SG3524 devices incorporate all the functions required in the construction of a regulating power supply, inverter, or switching regulator on a single chip. They can also serve as the control component in high-power Applications. The SG3524 were created for fixed-frequency, pulse-width modulation (PWM) Applications used in polarity converters, transformer-coupled dc-to-dc converters, transformerless voltage doublers, and switching regulators of either polarity. Both single-ended and push-pull Applications are possible with the complimentary output. Each component has a high-gain comparator, two uncommitted pass transistors, an on-chip regulator, an error amplifier, a programmable oscillator, a pulse-steering flip-flop, and circuitry for shutdown and current-limiting.
